My daughter came home from school one day and told me her friend had said something unkind about her drawing. She was eight. She sat with it for a moment, then said, that is just her opinion. And went back to drawing.

How to Actually Build Resilience
Process emotions rather than bypassing them. Feelings that are felt move through. Feelings that are suppressed stay and compound.
Build genuine support structures. Resilience is not a solo sport. People with strong, safe relationships bounce back faster from setbacks.
